Ryan Sawyer
Attorney
Ryan has been with the Hartley Law Group since 2014. He attended ODU, where he obtained a BA in history. He then attended Regent University School of Law where he obtained his JD in May of 2013. Since passing the bar exam in October of 2013, he has focused his practice mainly on estate planning, administration, and transactional work. When not in the office, Ryan spends time with his wife and children, vacations at his family's home on Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, and enjoys listening to podcasts on a wide array of subjects.

Stephanie Sopata
Real Estate Paralegal and Office Manager
Stephanie is the lead assistant in the real estate division. She brings years of excellent customer service and real estate experience to create a smooth closing for all of the firm’s clients. She has handled thousands of transactions, continually striving for excellent problem-solving skills.

Albert Hartley
Founder/Attorney
Albert has more than 15 years of legal experience with a focus on real estate matters. He attended Indian River High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, and graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. After teaching high school for a year, he attended Regent University School of Law while working part-time as a real estate professional. Many of the contacts he made selling residential real estate are now his clients.
Growing up the son of a contractor, Albert spent his youth in the world of construction and saw firsthand how things got built – how work got done. As an attorney, Albert brings that lunch pail, roll-up-the-sleeves attitude to his profession. With The Hartley Law Group, you get the job done – and done right.
